Mike Pearrell is a singer/songwriter whose songs evoke an emotional response in the listener as they explore the experiences of characters with hopes, dreams, and regrets just like our own. His songs will make you think, but they'll also make you feel, as they pull you in to their stories full of emotions drawn from real-life. Mike got his start playing guitar in junior high school "garage bands." Influenced early on by the British Invasion of the 1960s, his music is a mix of folk, country, rock, and a bit of pop. After experiencing artists performing their own live acoustic music on the college circuit, Mike's interest in Americana grew. Written with a sense of emotional purpose, Mike's lyrics run the gamut from tender love tributes, to lost relationship regrets and heartache, as well as the simple joy found in a really good day. The music that accompanies his stories ranges from waltzes to Bo Diddley. Mike is a native of Martinsburg, West Virginia, where his family still lives, including his three grown daughters. He currently lives in Roanoke, Virginia.
